Iris pendant with pink tourmaline and amethyst made in sterling silver

Thoughts of Monet's beautiful expressionistic paintings of Irises came to mind when I was making this small sculpture of a single iris with a single leaf.
I've set this sterling silver iris pendant with two stones, a pink tourmaline 3mm cab, an 8mm rick purple amethyst cab., both reflex the true colours of the iris flower.

Made for all those who love flowers...

Both my grandmothers and mother were avid gardeners. In winter, even at the age of 87, my mom was starting her garden early with her favourite flower seeds indoors. This lovely Iris brooch design was created with them in mind.

Comes on a sterling silver Rollo chain.
